About Zero-X Atlas

Who it is for

People who fix Windows computers: patch remediation teams, desktop support and service desk staff. Each error code has its meaning, likely causes, things to try with the source of each, and where it exists a script that carries the fix out.

Third-party content

The error code tables, support articles and other reference text come from Microsoft and other publishers. They remain their owners' works, used under the license named on each entry and in its footer (for example CC-BY-4.0 for Microsoft Learn content). Names and logos of third parties belong to them. Accuracy

Fixes come from published guidance and from tests on real computers. A fix is marked verified here only after someone has recorded that it worked. Always read a fix and test it on a non-production computer first.
